Chocolate Chip Cake

This is one of our family's favorite desserts that my mother-in law makes. It is prepared in a Bundt cake pan and is moist and delicious every single time. Thanks Mimi for such a great recipe that we will pass down from generation to generation!
Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 small box instant chocolate pudding
- 4 eggs
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

- Chocolate Glaze:

1/4 cup of butter - 1/4 cup regular cream or milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup of confectioner's sugar
Directions for Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat all ingredients except for chocolate chips together until well combined and smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into lightly greased and floured Bundt cake pan.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool for 10 minutes and then invert and remove from pan.
- Frost with Chocolate Glaze if desired.
Directions for Chocolate Glaze:
- Melt butter in small saucepan. Add cream and chocolate chips. Stir until completely melted.
- Gradually whisk in confectioner's sugar until smooth. Pour over warm cake.

- None
Variations:
- Add 1/2 cup pecans to glaze.
- I have used store bought chocolate frosting and heated in the microwave until it was pourable.
- Use chocolate chunks instead of the chocolate chips.
- Use vanilla pudding instead of chocolate.
