Cranberry Orange Relish

1This is a recipe that is very fresh tasting. If you are looking for something that is different from the typical cranberry sauce, this relish is a great departure.


  • 1 12oz pkg cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 whole orange, unpeeled, cut into eighths and seeded
  • 3/4 cup sugar


  1. In a food processor, add half of the cranberries and half of the orange slices.
  2. Process until mixture is finely chopped. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Add the remaining cranberries and orange slices. Transfer to same bowl.
  4. Stir sugar into bowl and combine well with cranberry and orange mixture.
  5. Refrigerate until serving. Best if prepared hours ahead of time. It also keeps well in the refrigerator for days after your meal.
