Simply Roasted Green Beans
Another recipe from our simply recipes that is very good with just a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs green beans
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Lay green beans in a single layer on a baking/cookie sheet pan.
- Sprinkle oil over the green beans and roll them in the oil until coated.
- Season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 12 minutes or until tender. They should be fork tender but still have a little crunch to them.

- Use garlic salt instead of kosher salt.
- Sprinkle slivers of garlic over green beans before roasting.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over green beans before roasting.
