Tartar Sauce
Tartar Sauce is great with fish and seafood. This recipe has fresh lemon juice which makes this recipe light tasting despite the mayonnaise. Also great mixed with shredded cabbage for fish tacos.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbs lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tbs sweet pickle relish or dill relish
- 1 tbs onions, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a small bowl combine all ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
Comments:
- Try to use fresh lemon juice instead of bottled.
