Teriyaki Marinated Pork Loin

1Pork tenderloins that are soaked in a marinade of soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, sherry, garlic and green onions. It turns out perfectly moist every time and very flavorful.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pork tenderloins (1 pound each)
  • 2 tbs sherry
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt or kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 green onion, white and green part
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large resealable plastic bag, adding tenderloins last. Seal and turn to coat.
  2. Marinate in refrigerator overnight.
  3. Remove from refrigerator and lest rest 15 minutes at room temperature before grilling.
  4. Grill pork until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees or until desired doneness.
  5. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Comments:

- Place the marinade ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 2 minutes for a dipping sauce on the side.

Tips:

-  Prepare two of these meals at the same time, and before cooking...place one in the freezer for a meal at a later time.
