Veggie Pizza

Recipe adapted from Pampered Chef

1This is another one of my favorite recipes from the  Pampered Chef. You can use any combination of vegetables you desire even if it is only one type of veggie. The kids really like this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp dried dill weed or Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix
  • finely chopped vegetables such as tomatoes, green onions, broccoli, fresh mushrooms, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, sugar snap peas, red onions, etc.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. On an ungreased baking sheet, unroll dough and gently press seams together.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic, mayonnaise and dill weed.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture on cooled crescent rolls all the way to the edges.
  6. Sprinkle the finely chopped vegetables over the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  8. Cut into bite size 2" squares and serve.

Comments:

- It is best when the veggies are finely chopped.

- Serve within a couple of hours after prepared.
