White Chocolate & Macadamia Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating until well combined after each egg.
- Add flour gradually, beating until well combined.
- Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown.
Comments:
- To make a cookie pan version:
Prepare dough as above and spread into a greased 15 x 10 jelly roll pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
